Rebus creator – build your own rebus and share a link
Build your own rebus online and send it with one link. The puzzle travels in the address, nothing is stored on a server. Requires an account and creator rights.
How does the rebus creator work?
The creator builds a rebus from stages — each one is a separate formula to decode, and the final answer unlocks only once every stage is solved. For a simpler puzzle, leave the stage answers empty: the recipient then types a single solution straight away.
A stage holds more than letters. The script palette offers Egyptian hieroglyphs, runes, Linear B, the Phoenician alphabet and Ugaritic cuneiform, and a single button rewrites the whole stage in the script you picked. In the preview a word written in hieroglyphs is closed in a cartouche, Phoenician runs right to left, and the preview follows the stage you are writing — you see the puzzle the way its solver will.
The finished rebus is stored in the address itself, not on a server — you send one link that works for anyone and leaves no data behind. The creator itself is gated, though: it needs an account, player level five and an administrator's approval to build rebuses.
Whoever gets the link needs no account and nothing to install: the rebus opens straight in the browser. You can add a prompt, a hint and your signature, so the puzzle carries the tone you meant. A shared rebus awards no points and no daily-challenge credit — its content comes from you, so there is nothing on our side to verify.
Because the whole puzzle, answer included, travels inside the link, it can be read back from it. Do not put private data, or anything meant to stay secret, into a rebus.
